Delete Specific Data
You can request deletion of specific data from your Should I? activity without deleting your entire account. This page explains what data you can request to have deleted and how to submit your request.
Data you can request to delete
Questions you posted
Any question you submitted to Should I? can be deleted. Votes cast by others on your question will also be removed.
Votes you cast
Individual vote records you cast on other users' questions. Note: aggregate vote counts on the question may remain (the total number decreases but the identity breakdown is anonymous).
Takes you submitted
Short anonymous comments you left after voting. Can be deleted individually or all at once.
Push notification token
Your device's push notification registration. Deleting this stops all push notifications from Should I?.
How to submit a data deletion request
Email support@shouldi.fun with the subject "Data Deletion Request"
Specify which type of data you want deleted (questions, votes, Takes, or push token)
Include your account email (if signed in with Google) or any identifying information that helps us locate your data
We will confirm the deletion within 30 days and email you when complete

- Aggregate vote totals โ When you voted on a question, your vote contributed to a total count (e.g., "2,341 votes"). Deleting your vote record decreases that count, but older aggregated counts shown in notification history cannot be retroactively updated.
- Server access logs โ Standard server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and are not individually addressable. They contain no personally identifiable information beyond IP addresses.
